Diwali Lantern Parade
Celebrate the festival of lights as part of this Indian festival there will be activities, crafts programmed throughout the day.
Activities, crafts will be programmed throughout the day 11am -4pm follwed by a parade through the town and celebration of dance, music and food.
To join the parade meet on Northgate near to Boots for start of the parade - bring a lantern, wear your colourful and sparkly clothes ready to celebrate this wonderful parade.

- Visit the Diwali light arch and selfie throne in the shopping centre.

- The Crooked Halo will be creating mandala colouring art in the Darlington Building Society Branch.

Theatre Hullabaloo - Diya and rangoli family workshop £3p Children and their grown-ups can create their own Diya lamp which are symbolically lit during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies in the Hindu culture.
