Dinosaur Day Thursday

Jurassic creatures roaming around the town, themed activities and live entertainment.

Stage performances at 11am, 12pm and 2pm

Walkabout meet the baby dinosaurs will be roaming around at Cornmill and Queen Street Shopping Centres. 

11am - 11:30am

12pm - 12:30pm

2pm - 2:30pm

T-Rex will be somewhere around the market hall and High Row - he is really big so you should be able find this giant reptile!

11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm

A full walkabout with all the dinosaurs 3pm around the town centre - can you find them?

Lots of interactive play and activities will be on the square and in the marquee 11am - 3pm.

Library - 11am - 3pm Wild West Dino Discovery

Wild West meets Dinosaurs! We will transport you back to the dino hunting days of the wild west. Marvel at our collection of specially selected museum-quality reproduction dinosaur fossils from UK and the USA, including some of the most renowned species from that period. You'll have the chance to handle fossils and get up and close and personal with the skull of one of America's laregst predatory dinosaurs, the Tyrannosaurus rex and much more.
