The event, which coincides with National Apprenticeships Week, has opportunities for people of all ages, interests, backgrounds and skill levels.

With hundreds of jobs available and employers in healthcare, life science, construction, engineering, professional services, manufacturing, retail, transport and logistics already confirmed – this really is an event not to miss!

You can:

• talk to local employers about their organisation and the jobs they have available
• network and showcase your skills and talents
• meet local education and training providers who can signpost you to apprenticeships or courses that will help you gain employment or progress in your career
• get help and advice from support organisations on topics including getting work, benefits, transport, childcare, disability, and health issues.

Specific support is also available for:

• veterans
• people who do not speak English as a first language
• those who have gained qualifications in other countries.

An attendee at last year's event described the jobs fair as "one of, if not, the best they attended in the North Of England".
