Darlington Market are pleased to announce that the Farmer’s Markets will restart in March after a short winter break. Following the success of the newly formed event last year, traders are looking to return to Darlington town centre for 2020.
The markets will be held on the first Sunday of the month March to October, with the first one being held on Sunday,1st March, from 10am – 3pm.
“We are pleased to be able to offer visitors the opportunity to sample and buy local quality produce from small businesses.
All our traders come from the Tees Valley and North East, offering them a platform to showcase and sell their produce here in Darlington.” Hayden Ferriby, Director of MAM Darlington Ltd.
A selection of artisan food producers from across the region, will be coming to West Row, offering award-winning cheeses, freshly baked bread, locally reared sausages, cheesecakes, jams and street food.

Event Manager Alex Nicholson said “Darlington Indoor Market has an excellent selection of fresh food and produce but does not open for trade on Sundays.
MAM will continue to supplement this offer with the Farmer’s Market which offers something a little bit different. We hope the people of Darlington will support the traders as we continue to develop the market”.
